Default 600RR Exhaust on my F4i...

Im planning on installing a 2006 undertail exhuast off a 600rr on my 2002 cbr 600f4i. I already have the exhaust(free) and i just wanted to see if anybody had done this already and if they had any advice on the project. thanks

I also had the thought of doing this but once I received the exhaust and put it up under the tail I realized that a lot of modification would have to be done in order to make it work. To me I didn't find it worth it but if you could pull it off it would defintely be awesome. Post up some pics if ya get goin on it

I was going to do the whole tail section mod but I changed my mind when I ran low on money. You might need to change the swingarm for the pipe to clear. I know the RR has a place in it for the pipe.

It seems like once i gut the tail the exhaust should fit pretty well, the piping on the other hand might be tricky. Im thinking running the pipe on the outside of the swingarm and extending the foot pegs and assembly out an inch and a half and having the pipe go between it and the swingarm. ill have to extend both sides so the ride stance wont be uneven but i dont know how it will feel with my feet that much further out. I'll definately post up the pics when i get it finished.

Sounds like A LOT of work & $$$$
Of course, it'd be frickin' awesome if you could pull it off though

My first thought is that you would have to swap out the rear tail section/subframe to a RR version for it to work, but you have the exhaust and can see if it'll fit on a F4i tail section.

Also this could give you a reason to swap to the RR rear swingarm....it bolts up to the F4i I've heard

good luck man

I wouldnt see how it could go on the F4i tail. You would be burning a hole in the seat trunk.
You would have to swap out the rear end of your bike for a RR rear end just so you would be burnin anything.
