all i do is tuck the tank bad flaps under the rear seat and snap the seat on. easy as pie
I am not sure that I could trust that method, as it's not really my nature. I have to strap everything down and make sure everything is secure. I guess I worry too much. I have carried some fairly heavy things in mine, and so far, no problems.

thats cool, my way is just a quicky. but to its defense, when i do that the magnets block all slippage and keep it in there VERY snug. i try to pull it out with all my might but i can not get it out of there. (plus i think the magnets magnitize to some metal in there for a x4 security

I did not realize yours had magnets in the flaps. Mine does not. That explains it.

I have the Ogio Tanker. The magnets weren't strong enough to hold on securely "enough" for my liking, so I took a 4-ft bungie cord, hooked one end to the end of the tank cover, went through the metal rings on the tank bag, and anchored the other end to the fairing stay for the mid-fairings. Worked perfectly for the 1500-mile trip to Durango CO.

Doesn't the '07 have a metal tank, making the magnetized flaps functional?

I tried looking at a store for a good tank bag for my '08 600rr and couldn't find anything that would stay put.

The actual tank is metal, but the cover that we all see is plastic. That is why it doesn't work all that well.

Anyone know if the 2007 rear seat will fit on a 2008? (I'm still learning)
