05 F4i Mods

Just wanted to know what you all thought about getting some type of Fender Eliminator? Worth it or just something that looks cool. Also i agree about frame sliders. That will be my first mod. I was at a motorcycle safety course last weekend. And a guy there was a t a turn signal out on the streets when his gear shift fell off. (a bolt came out) so when he was rolling it across the intersection a cop came up behind him to help, pushed too hard and the bike tipped. Moved the handle bar, scratched the fairing and because of this when he was riding it later on his rear brake pedal broke off. So things happen.

hahhaha...cop did it on purpose!

FE's are cool but not necessary...but i think it's a must have cause that fender looks horrible! the slip on and PC3.

Tahoe is right FE's are not necessary but I personally dont like riding around with a big dirt bike scoop on the tail of my bike. Those things are hideous.

You're prob going to laugh, but this was my thinking:

I wanted a FE. I also wanted to lose the bulk of the rear and do away with blinker stalks and get an integrated LED tailight built into the undertail.

More cost effective and nicer-look solution for me? An undertail with integrated tailight. License plate can either mount up under the tail, or because I like a clean rear (here we go again), side mounted plate off behind the swingarm.

YMMV BUT just something to think about if this is more the look of what you were wanting to achieve.

I know there's many choices out based on your personal tastes, which is great. Keeps us different.
