i have a 03-04 exhaust that i could get from one of my buds but will it work on my 06? could a simple mod be done to make it work, because they look really close.

IT WONT WORK.....TRIED TO FIT A JARDINE SLIP ON FOR AN 03-04 ON MY FRIENDS 05 RR.....IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL FIT BUT BELEIVE ME IT WONT......

 

i beg to differ. i damaged my pipe on my 06 and i replaced it from one from an 04 model
fits perfectly. my 06 had the catallic converter and 02 sensor.i just had to make me a boss for the sensor.everything else is the same

 

we matched the mid pipes up from the 04 and 05 and they were different......guess you had better luck than we did.

 

i guess.my 06 did have the larger diameter mid pipe since it has a catallic converter. i just cut out the boss from my old pipe and welded it in the the 04 pipe.works perfect

 

Gents...are we talking about the same bike? I believe the original question was for a 600RR but I see that schultzy has an F4i

 

Dont know, but on a 600RR mid pipes are different and is not possible unless you bend a new midpipe.
