Just bought a yoshimura exhaust from my friend. He has a 01 GSX-R 750 and i have an 01 f4i. With a bit of welding, would it work properly?

If so, ill bring it to a shop soon

 

I don't see why it wouldn't work if you were willing to fab the connections.

 

Yup. I gotta Yosh RS-3 off a Gixxer on my F4i, just gotta work on the mid pipe to make it fit right. Just a FYI, you can't mig weld titanium to stainless. I learned the hard way by piecing together a mid pipe, I cut the gixxer pipe at the valve and used the bottom part of a 2 bros mid pipe, slipped them together and viola, or so I thought, till the Ti just crumbled at the weld. So for round two, I used a two part epoxy (like JB weld), and that worked pretty good, good enough for me to ride up to the local muffler shop and have them make me a custom mid pipe, and it only cost me a case of beer.
