Default Who has a D&D Exhaust?

I am looking at buying a D&D dual canister exhaust for my 06 CBR 1000. My question is who has them and what pieces should come with it? The one I found was a display model and it comes with the canisters and the Y-pipe that connects to the cans. Should there be a bent mid-pipe or do you use your stock one? Does the D&D just replace the stock can and the flapper or is the one I'm looking at missing a pipe? Thanks

It should replace the muffler and the mid pipe. the mid pipe is short though. If you look at your stock muffler, you'll notice the mid pipe is fairly short, the new one should be as long. Just remember the stock header is pretty long and actually begins to come back up.

As said, D&D are notoriously loud, and the dual cans are no exception. they are extremely loud. I doubt you will like them. Even those who like loud exhaust get sick of the drone of the D&D's.

Ive seen them going for about 550 or so on ebay from time to time. Another brand to check out would Laser. They have a very nice looking dual can as well. I don't know how loud they are, but I would assume they are fairly loud since they small stinger style cans too.

My dad just put an exhaust on his 07 1000 and the pipe attached down by the lower fairing. Is that where the D&D exhaust should attach? My stock exhaust is clamped together in 2 places: right past the flapper and down by the lower fairing. Should it include the bent pipe that goes from the flapper to the lower faring?

Personally not a big fan of the D&D. Alot louder than other exhaust and just got me in alot of trouble because the cops could hear me coming and then follow the sound.
