Default Strapped Front End

I understand the concept of strapping the front end for the 1/4 but can you do it with regular motrcycle straps or do you need to use the actual straps that are just for that, like the ones shnitz has. Any help?

Cool cause the actual straps are like 30 dollars but I can buy some race fuel with that 30. Thanks for the reply.

Guys like your friend on his 900RR who's cheap $5 straps come updone or break, while rapping around the front wheel are most of the reason my local drag track has a 100% ban on strapping. The real ones aren't alot of money. Only Drag Track I've ever heard of that doesn't allow it. I guess they like to watch wheelies?

I GOT SOME FROM ORIENT EXPRESS FOR ABOUT $15 AND GOT SPECIAL BRACKETS FOR THE CALIPERS THAT WERE AROUND $20. THEY WORK GREAT. WELL WORTH THE CASH.

If they'd do a "proper" tech inspection they could weed out the rif-raf before crap happens. Inspection is a joke, er, was a joke at the track we used to run ... it closed down this year[]
