Well i broke all the plastic pop rivets holding my lower fairings together while doing my oil change, this is the second time its happened. Anyone have a better replacement for these perishable items?

 

I've taken mine off a few times, and had good luck with them. I killed the little snaps on the bottom of my gixxer so i replaced them with a bolt, washer, and nut.

I have some automotive type plastic rivets -- by some I mean a crap load. PM me your address and let me know how many you need. A word of warning though, you can use these just like they come but it'll be a pain in the *** to remove them later. I take a sharp knife and shave a bit off of the push piece so that it's easier to disassemble later on.

 

Hey chain i just went to auto zone and picked up some auto rivets like you were saying and did the same thing shaved a bit off. I appreciate the gesture, its nice to know people are still looking to help.
