If I go down Ill be more worried about myself, not my bike. I got no cuts for those dumb incidents when your buddy sits on your bike and accidently tips it over. If the no cuts save my bike during a high speed wreck great. As long as I can walk I could care less.
dont cry when they dont do that because thats not what they're designed for. they are called 'frame' sliders, not 'fairing' sliders.

Im not sure how the 08's are set up. But thats one of the big reasons not to get no-cuts on the 04-07's. Just a tip over can bend the bracket into the water elbow pinching it. That is not a cheap or easy fix.

The only non cut sliders I would ever recommend are the LSL's.

All I'm saying is if you go down, 9 times out of 10 your bike is gonna be totaled whether you have them or not. I went down on my last bike at like 40 mph and destroyed the front fairing, headlight, brackets, all the side fairings and dented the frame. I got them for my new bike for the same reason jimbo got them; if my bike were to fall over i'm hoping for them to save the plastics. If they don't then hey guess what...they don't. I know you guys are trying to help but some of you go about it in the wrong way. Like Stephens said, its my bike. All this thread was for was to ask for help and I might have gotten help from 1 person out of 12 replies and the rest was mostly bashing about my choice.

Alright! So what did you end up doing? Found instructions from the manufacturer? What brand of no-cuts did you go with?
