i'm trying to install my exhaust but i'm kinda confused. on the instructions, it says that i'm supposed to disconnect the exhaust valve cable from the actuator on the left side of the motorcycle and remove the cables. it doesn't say anything else about re-installing them. am i supposed to just get rid of the cables or what? please i need your help!!!!

 

You do not need to re-attach them. Once you disconnect them, fish them out and leave the servo motor mounted to the stock pipe.

IIRC, the actuator and cables/motor help adjust the f/a mixture of the exhaust, and possibly increase backpressure. It helps the bike breath better at lower RPMs with the stock exhaust. This will not be a problem with the RT1 dual.
