Default Micron exhaust question

I likethe look of the micron dual outlet slip-on exhaust. Does anyone have it and if so,how do you like it? I'm wanting to keep thefactory look, but get a little more power and will even add a power commander to it if recommended by others who have this pipe.
Thanks!

I'd also like opinions on this exhaust. It's one of the four that I'm considering. Thanks!

I got the dual outlet micron on my 06, i love the look, close to stock, the sound is not that loud, although performance seems lacking?

i am looking to get the full surpent system and i havebeen told by a preformance shop that is well known for making huge power out of any kind of bike that the micron serpent is one of the best exhausts out there for making power. I am wonering if anyone out there has one or knows anyone that has one and what the power gain is like.

all i can tell you is the micron is not one of the popular exhausts recommended by the racers on 1000rr.net

i havent read a lot of real good info about them however the new design gives more power than the old design if that helps. supposedly the welds arent as good as the welds of the arata, sato, or hamaguchi

also i do know that the micron has a known problem with the welds breaking on the rc51
different bike i know but still shows quality

me personally, if i didnt have my arata and was going to get another pipe, i would go to ridersinc.com and get the full titanium hamaguchi for 900 bucks
power is equal to arata and it only weighs 9lbs

I had a full serpent system on my 929 with a pc and the power gain was huge. the front end would come off the ground shifting from 3rd to 4th at redline and that was with my fat a$$ on it. I just bought the dual outlet and it should be here next week. I have never had a complaint, I'ce had two micron bolt ons in the past and the are nice and deep but not all that loud. I hope this new one is louder since the muffler is shorter.

Ha, didnt even know Micron had a dual outlet pipe. I googled it. It does look rather stock looking. Could make a real sleeper with something like that
