Default Looking for an exhaust can anyone help???

I have an '07 CBR 1k and I'm looking for an exhaust system to put on it. I looked at and really like the Yosh RS5 full system that ends in a carbon fiber can. Any one else have one of these, and if so how is it. The only thing I am worried about is noise. We have some pretty strict laws and it has to pass noise inspection each year. Our laws state it can't be over 106 db at 3k revs, 3' from the end of the exhaust. I know its going to make the bike louder but how far over the line will I be, does anyone know?? Any other suggestions for exhausts would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have the rs-5 carbon fiber slip on on my 06 and I love it. but it is on the louder side, if you want good performance and without a lot of noise micron makes a good pipe, same with akra. 2-bro, yoshi, jardine, D&D are all out of the question as far as noise regulations. I had a scorpion and it was on the louder side but reasonable. I love the sound of my yosh gets alot of compliments, its quieter than my scorpion until about 4000rpm then its louder

I have an RS-5, but the stainless, not the carbon. I think the carbons are a bit quieter than the stainless or the titanium. I would guess at 3,000 rpms, your going to be ok. taking off, no way, they bark pretty good while getting on it.

You could take a look at yosh's site and ask what the decibel level is at 3,000 rpm.. they may
have an answer for you.

I also found this site that has a collection data base. If their info is correct, it looks like you should be fine.

my bike came with a FMF titanuim power core pipe and it sounded real nice not that loud in hte higher revs but nice, deep and throaty 4k and below, my only reason for changing pipes was that fact that it is a crooked design pipe and I didnt like that, but it performed well
