FUSE GOING OUT
HELP !!!! I've replaced the ugly factory turn signals to LED. BUT the fuse for the gauges is blowing as soon as I Turn the bike on.
I've checked the wiring 4X and they are all connected well and secure from touching one another.WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM??????? and how can I fix it????
I've even tried a fuse 30,25,20,15 fuse type but the larger one seem to warm the wires and thats SCARY.
PLEASE HELP

RE: FUSE GOING OUT
go back to the indicator resisters and check the way they are wired you have connected them incorrectly check the earth. Do you have the indicaters on when you switch on ignition as if they are not then something else may be the poblem as the cicuit is not live till indicater switched on . DO NOT PUT A BIGGER FUSE IN THAN RATED THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR BIKE AND IT CAN CAUSE IT TO CATCH FIRE [sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=nothatway.gif]. If you cant sort it out i will have a look at wiring diagram and then tell you which to connect to . You can try disconnecting them and then reconnecting one at a time to see if one is faulty .If you want mor ehelp contact me on my email regards Ben

RE: FUSE GOING OUT
I forgot usa lights are different to uk spec .The wiring for the earth wiring here is green .check the positive has not touched it if you are using leds do they have resisters to reduce the blink rate or are they wired straight to to wiring if so in this case they would have less load so would only need a smaller fuse and they definately shouldnt blow fuses
