You will want to do the exhaust flapper as well or I don't see the point. You gain mid range HP but not overall HP. I think the screw thing is stupid as it does not take much more effort to remove the pastic and simply unplug the solenoid and zip tie that. I removed everything and caped off the nipple on the engine block.
Enlarging is removing the deviders and fiberglassing the holes from the small flappers you see on the sides. I supoose you could try speed tape isntead of fiberglass. I opted to keep the deviders for the side chambers with the small flappers and I glued the small flapper doors to cover the holes and opened the front. Don't worry about this untill you have upgraded the filters, exhaust and have a PCIII to tune.
