I have not been on here for a while and right now I am deployed to Iraq. I will be back in a month and I am wanting to change my exhaust and I am thinking about the D & D dual pipes for my 06 CBR1000RR. Does anybody have one and I would like to know what people think. The other thing is does anybody know how to get that old stock exhaust off, I would only be purchasing the slip-one. Please everybody let me know what you think.

 

Whatever you buy directions will most likely tell you how to take old one off.

As for the D&D's I don't know. Never had. I personally don't like the sound, but everyones opinion varies. Some people love the D&D

So I heard a sound clip of the D&D exhaust today and it is a little to much for me. I would like to get an opinion from everyone. I am looking at the Scorpion, Akropovic, KR Tuned and Leo Vince. Please help me out and tell me what you think cause I have not heard what they sound like. I want something that sounds good but not really loud and I want something that is going to give some extra power. Thanks for the help.

 

Look into Two Brothers, or Vance and Hines if you want good sound that's not too loud, Scorpion is a loud exhaust, as is akro
I personally love my D&D, but there's times when it gets on my nerves, not many though

 

I just thought that I would let you all know I have decided to purchase KR Tuned Slip-on for my bike. Thanks for all the help.
