Once you are done with your hissy fit re read your post and think about it. All have not commented on your solution for a bike that is too tall for them.Many vertically challenged riders adapt to the equipment rather than modify it...my wife included.
Over the yearswe have attempted to fit a machine to her and the result has always been compromisedhandling. Withmore experience the size issue seems less dauntingand her confidence has increased dramatically. She is shorter than you.
Dont assume your issue hasnt been overcome here before...it harms your credibility.
