I'd be interested to hear about electric shifting too. Just out of interest..... I'm pretty sure I have no need of such a thing but always inquisitive.

i dont know to much about em but you can check this out. i thought you were talkin about a quick shifter that allows for clutchless upshifts without letting off the throttle

the air shifter seems like the way to go for you.

I have the quickshifter with arata rearsets in GP shift and it's almost like my foot doesn't do any work anymore. But if you can't even raise your shifter halfway, then the quickshifter wouldn't be of any use to you. You need to be able to put pressure on the shifter rod for it to shift for you.

I have a MPS airshifter setup on my 06 1000rr. It works great on my bike. You have to remember that it only UP shifts for you. You still have to down shift. My solenoid does have the option for the down shift, but there isn't enough room on the 1000rr to put the extra electronics. I run mine off of my 2.5lb nitrous bottle. The shifter barely uses any nitrous what-so-ever. The only two options you have for mounting a bottle that big is either stretch the bike and mount it in the middle of the swingarm or buy hayabusa passenger pegs and mount the bottle to the exhaust hanger hole in one of the pegs. There isn't enough room in the trunk for a bottle on mine. I have a power commander, speedo healer, MPS kill box, and half a pack of cigs. That is all i have room for!! lol
