Any thing better then the K&N drop in filter for my 88 Hurricane 1000?

 

Yep, an emgo stock replacement for $12 at bike bandit.

But honestly, it all depends on how you define "better".

 

On my 1990 cane I have 4 emgo pod filters( 1 on each carb) and a crankcase breather filter, with the jet kit and vance and hines pipe it works well, I tuned the carbs and matched them for vacuum and everything seems to go very good together
