Default Air Duct!?!

Ok, I have followed the service manual to the letter and I still can't get the airduct out. I'm changing my plugs and removing the flapper. Do I need to remove the airbox to get it out or is it suppose to slide out the front of the bike?

'04 CBR 1000 RR
Flapper mod
(Done before I bought the bike.)

Exhaust valve disabled but untried.
(Did that while I was waiting on the Race Tech springs. Hope the pulley is in the right spot!)

1 1/4" holes drilled in the baffle of the muffler. Also untried.

Race Tech springs.
For the more robust (as in fat) rider.

Thanks guy's.

Any help is appreciated. I really want to get my bike back together. Had it for about a month and have only ridden it a week or 10 day's. It's killin' me!

Kewl,

Got the forks back on and the air duct out last night. Wasn't as bad as I thought. Gonna get the plugs in tonight and maybe do the PAIR mod as well.

Thanks again.

<~~~~~NOOB -- What is a Flapper mod and a Pair mod?
that has to be a joke because no one in his right mind would post that kind of question without searching first
because if he just typed in flapper or pair mod he would get pages upong pages of info

but just in case
go to
www.rogueracing.org
it has info on both as well as a how to
