You don't want to store it in your house. Fumes from the gas, engine, etc will stink up your house. Not to mention it might not be safe to breathe in that stuff all winter with all your window's closed, imo.

i stored mine for about 6 months after i wrecked it outside on a concrete pad with a tarp over it, nothing went wrong and i live in florida so its def humid most of the time, all i did was take the tarp off 2 times a week and let it sit in the sun on my driveway...

I think we all assumed he has sense enough not to run the bike while it's inside. He can push it in and out... when he gets time, take it out and let it run a little and keep a battery tender on it while it's inside.

I can't do that Chevota, as there will soon be about 1 or 2 ft of snow on the ground. Wish I lived in a place where it's warm all the time.

I think I'm going to get a storage unit and split the cost with a friend of mine who also is trying to get a bike.

How would you get it in the basement? They do make sheds, with floors, that you could put it in. Just make sure to start it every couple of weeks if you do do that.

Our basement has a "back door" if you will. The house is on a hill of sorts, so if you walk around there is a door into the basement.
