Not really, you don't have to replace the washers. I've found that if you bleed the MC first, and then the calipers, it cuts the whole process by half (the time that is) than if you were to bleed just at the calipers.

I did mine like this when I got the SS brake lines, and haven't had any problems with fluid leak at the washers (or anywhere else for that matter)

as long as you keep pressure on the lever you wont get any air in the cylinder. also if you have a buddy willing to help, have then tap a little on the master cylinder, it helps break up the air bubbles so they come out easier
