what kind of oil to use

Talking what kind of oil to use

I have a 2008 1k and would like some feedback from you guys on what kind of oil to use and what to avoid..on my first oil change

Your owners manual has the correct "TYPE" of oil to use, but what "BRAND" is up to you. Fully synthetic is highly recomended. DO NOT deviate from the "TYPE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL! THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck!

+1. You'll hear all kinds of advice but it all comes down to whatever YOU want to use. I use Honda (non-synthetic) oil in all my bikes, I go by the mileage table in the OM and I've never had a problem.
