Default Rear lights not working

1990 CBR1000F-L.

Noticed as I got off the bike today that both rear bulbs are not working when the ignition is on.

However they both light up when the key is in the Park position, and both brake circuits light up for both front and rear braking.

Where should I start looking? Doesn't sound like a fuse to me.

Thanks all.

Check the wiring in the tail area first, sounds like it's not wired proper

The brake light on my F4i suddenly stopped working two days ago as well.. the running lights work but the brake light does not. I figured it was a bad brake light switch but I tested the continuity and its fine. I later discovered that by tapping on the rear (aftermarket) LED tail lamp... the brake light would actually work. I'm thinking for me its a loose connection.

Have you done any recent changes such as replace the tail lamp or add any other electrical things to the bike?

Thanks Colombo.
Not done any electrical work lately apart from removing heated grips.
It probably is loose wiring somewhere, I'm just puzzled why the bulbs light when in Parking mode.
I'll have a look tonight or over the weekend.

Default It was a fuse

Yup, it was the fuse after all. Thankfully (and unusually for me) a simple fix - unless it keeps blowing.
