rear brake lights and blinkers not working
i just bought a 2003 cbr 600 f4i a week ago and the rear brake light and blinkers dont work i seen there was a lot of wires cut and spliced together. this thing was f up bad.. when u hit the front brake the blinkers would go on.. but what i wanna know is if anyone can take a pic under the passenger seat so i can see how the wires are thanks. need to get this fixed so i can take it for a ride.

Well, welcome aboard!
Ok, one at a time:
-Stator cover you can get off eBay easily for about $50-65. Brand new too.
-For the wires I would suggest getting workshop manual and peek at the schemes there. If you still can identify color coding you will be fine.
-Ohh yes, check the fuses! Maybe one is out and that's what is causing the problems.
Hope it helps

Welcome aboard.
Fraid a peek under the seat won't do a whole lotta good. Went digging thru the wires to install my alarm over the weekend and everything was so neatly wrapped and tied I hated to start splicing. Having traced thru a hacked harness on my F3, I'm afraid seeing a stock wiring would make you do what I did: replace the entire harness
What we could prolly do is tell you how the wires are supposed to route from the switches to the relays to the lights themselves. Then if worse came to worse, you could lay new wires to duplicate.

start from scratch. remove any sliced crap the prev owner did and get a multimeter or test light and ground it to the bike and check the wires one by one. if you have the right blinker on then one wire will give you 12v 0v 12v 0v (or test light blinking). mark it with tape or somethin you'll remember and move on to the next funtion. i had to do it to mine cause the prev. owner did an awsome job putting on some flushmount turn sig that got wired up to stay on with the tail light and loose ground when the signal +wire got power so it "blinked" but so did the tail light. i dont know if it was on purpose but it definately wasn't "right".
