Soo I finally got the bike back together last night and wanted to go for a ride. I live in upstate NY and we just got more snow the day be4 but the roads were clean so I didnt care. Anyways Ive switched to split seat and added an undertail and a few other things. So I start the bike up and let it run for about 10min cuz its been since october, thats when I realize that the cluster isnt lit up and there is no speedo, tach, temp or fuel gauge. I was like w/e I can worry bout that lata well then I walk to the back and there is no tailight either. Brakes and signals work fine. Just no tailight. ??? By the way its an 04 F4i. Thanks for any input.

 

check fuses?

 

Check your lighting fuse i believe, check all the fuses. If it blows right away then you wired something up wrong on your undertail. Anytime your doing electrical work you should disconnect the battery so you don't blow any fuses.

So check the fuses, if it blows right away you have a problem if it doesnt your fine.
