My 2005 CBR 600RR oil pressure gauge light comes on while i am driving it doesn't stay on it'll come on and turn off in like 2-4 seconds. I warm up the bike before i take it anywhere. This happens like 2-4 times every ride. When the light comes on it feels like the whole bike shuts off then roars right back to life. I have changed the oil and the oil filter I am not that good with bikes but i would like to know what is wrong with it please help me out.

 

I have the same problem. I have a 06 600 rr and have never had the problem until last week. The engine is supposed to cut off with low oil pressure. I got my oil and filter changed today and I still have the same problem particularly when i come out of a turn from a standstill and the get on it. maybe the oilpump is not working well or there is something clogged up. I dont know and have asked for some help on the newcomeres section.
