SO I just bought a 2003 CBR600rr last night....
It has 9,800 miles
Blue "movistar" fairings
stock everything
and 2 new tires

It rides and feels great. It is missing a few little things but otherwise it looks good to me. I have rode for about a year and a half mostly on a sv650 but aslo a 2004 cbr600 and a 2008 R1 for short period of time. I decided to get this CBR for $3600, over a 2003 R1 with 20,000 miles for $4000. I have a car and a truck so I just use the bike as my toy. Also I live in a city and dont have many places to open up a 1000cc without either getting arrested, being in traffic, and lets face it 1000s can scare me (im comfortable going full throttle in a 600cc)

Im going to take the bike to a local shop and have them check everything out and make sure everything is ok with the bike. Im going to do the standard maintenance... spark plugs, air filter, oil, coolant, brake fluid and lube the chain..... Is there anything else I should do? or anything specific I should look for? Any recalls for that year?

And If anyone is selling black (or any color) fairings I will trade them or just buy them. I also looking for a turn signal integrated taillight, front flushmount signals and framesliders if anyone has them for sale

GreenMonster, where did you buy your rims at? I would like to find a set of dark red ones, know of any place online?
