Default Cooling Problem :(

Hey everyone...I have a 2003 Honda CBR F4i and my cooling is being wacked! I was out for a ride going to some back roads and was on the interstate and hit traffic...All the sudden I look down and it's at 240...I pulled to the side and let it sit in the shade...I know 250 is considering to be "Over heating" on these bikes and didn't want it to get that hot...But ever since then it seems like it runs a lot hotter than usual...If I'm going to work from school I usually am at around 182 but today it was at 195...And as soon as I sit at a light it's jumping up to 210 - 230 FAST unlike before it would take a few minutes to get up that high...Anyone know why? It's also about 80 degrees and a little humid here...

Thanks
Eric

Have you confirmed if your fan is kicking on @ around 223*F? If so check your coolant level, how many miles might need to flush the cooling system, bad thermostat. How do the fins look on the radiator? Hope this at least gives you a starting point
