My current upgrades on my bike include, yoshi rs-3 slip on, k&n, and powercommander dyno jet which i just installed. i am thinking about gutting my air box, wiring the exhaust valve open, -1 in front, +2in the rear possibly extending and lowering the bike. my question about the extending and lowering is how far with the stock shock can my bike be lowered and where can i find extentions?
and after i do any or all of this i plan to get my bike dyno tuned, would gutting my air box and opening the exhaust valve help me?

 

you can get extentions all over ebay or on the drag race section of cbr forum,and yes for drag style ridding you will make more hp with air bow cleaned outand ex valve open more flow in and out,but less smooth power will less a tiny little bit of drivabilty, you will love it good luck,doug

if you can afford it spring for a full exhaust, you make more power and lose weight at the same time, i did this on my 929 and i couldnt believe how heavy the stock exhaust was itfelt like about 20 lbs, i got a hindle full system used on ebay for 300 dollars shipped to my door. bike feels way faster and havent even dyno tuned it yet. just my 2 cents
