My bike has been sitting for almost 3 months with only a little bit of water and coolant in the radiator because i drained it. i finally put coolant in it and got it running today, but after its been running a while at idle i hear a high pitched sound that seems to be coming from the water pump. it sounds like there is water running through it. do i need to replace it or should i take it apart and clean it out. thanks for the help

 

sounds like the pump is on its way out...i've heard many of motors have a failing pump that liked to sing,chirp,scream,whine whatever...but ya...check that out
