Default porting/milling head / cam timing question

this winter I'm planning on milling the head and porting it. when I mill the head is it going to retard my cam timing, if so how do I advance the cams? also any tips for improvements, like cam somewhere that don't cost $700 (ie regrinds)...also rev limiter..how do I remove/disable or increase the rpm? thanks!

-ps- can you make it so I can post using firefox?

you should worry more about your compression ration rather than cam timing
