Want BIG mileage - I put a cruiser tyre on my bike and it's looking good for 25,000km! It has Harley Davidson cast into the sidewall. Extremely hard wearing but the obvious compromise is grip. It is treacherous in the wet, but wet roads are hard to come by around southern NSW these days.

It also needed a tube to seat the bead, since it is designed for a 4 1/2" rim, but once it seated it has been great.
