Mohawk helmets

I ride alot on pch from dt long beach to newport(for work) and see alot of guys wearing these little purple mohawks ontop of thier helmets. Its this some group, or just a cupple guys with it?

I see them in San Diego too. I always just thought it was a stunter thing... I don't think it is any particular group association..

i've been seeing that alot too, at csuf and on the freeways. i think it's just a fad.... looks kinda cool.
