Default anyone recommend a place for valve adjustment that's not a rip off?

I figure I can syc the carbs myself with the tool, but still need to buy one. The vavle adjustment is something I probably won't mess with even though I did one a long time ago on a car. Bike seems to be not too strong before 4500 rpm and not smooth. I checked plugs, so it should be either carbs or valves.

I am in Pasadena, so bout 10 miles outside of LA. Where are you at? If there was someone who did stuff out of their house that would be kewl to as long as they knew what they were doing.

i've worked on my bike @ my house or my friend's place

suggest you get a copy of the manual and see if you can do it yourself
