Just got home from the last track weekend of the year. Sunday at Shenandoah Circuit 65 degrees not a cloud in site. Load up my crap drove of to the Summit Main slept in the mini van from 7:30pm to 6:30am. Monday cloudy all day but temp was 65. It was a great 2 days. I hurt all over. Its amazing how much you can hurt and not even crash. I guess if I wasnt a fat, chain smoking, lazy bastard, I probably wouldnt ache so much. Any way its gonna be a long 4 and half months til track days start again. Hopefully the 06 cbr 600rr will be ready by then. I was looking forward to seeing pictures of my self with my new to me all black leathers, but there was a new photographer there that only post on facebook and since I dont have a facebook any more I dont get to look at them, HA!

Got back last night. Had a great 2 days. F2 ran great, Bridgestone slicks rock. The last 3 times I been there they had to call in the helicopter. Kind of puts things into perspective. We're not Superman or WonderWoman, we might feel like that while on the track, but most of us are "real blue collar people" and some of us have families that count on our paychecks to feed, clothe, and shelter them. So think about what your doing when on the track. No ones going to offer you a factory ride, there is no trophies or prize money at track days. If you have fun, go home with you and your bike in one piece you are a winner. Plain and simple. Cant wait to go back!
