Questions on Track day @ Firebird International in Chandler, AZ
I was seeing if anyone out there has done a track day at Firebird International raceway in Arizona. I was wondering how the track was, and who you did the track day with. I am moving out to Arizona and am looking for good tracks to take my bike to.
Hey man, I live in the Tempe area and have done several track days there. There are 3 tracks, the West, Main, and East tracks. West is really technical, Main is probably the easiest and fastest by far, and the East track goes clockwise which is pretty fun. You can find all the tracks on you tube to give you a decent idea of layout. Check out aztrackday.com for all the upcoming schedules.
Is that who you do your trackdays through? How big are are the groups usually. Also what sort of amenities do they offer for the riders, (i.e. Tire Mounting, Garage or Paddox setup, Camping Spots) I am trying to figure out what I am going to need. At my home track you are allowed to camp overnight so that you are there first thing in the morning, and they have showers and a concession stand. Is there anything like that at Firebird?
Best thing to do would be to check out the website and go from there. You'll probably find everything you need there, if not just call Ted Rich from the contact number and he'll answer ALL your questions. See you there!
