did my first track day in sep then again in nov and right after christmas ive ridden on the street twice scence september and havent even put the tag on after nov track day it still has the tape on the lights from dec might just get me a 600 track only bike

try jennings its a nice track also jenningsgp.com im going to barber in feb

Haha, I did the exact same thing! My bike is still a street bike but it's in track form. I need to get a track only 600.

If you pre-register weekend Jennings days are $130. Week days are usually $105. That's CHEAP. You can ride all day and you'll be exhausted at the end, trust me.

Also check out Nesba.com They are a great organization and they go to a lot of tracks. Well run events.

Since he's in SoCal, he will need to find an org in the local area. IIRC they have Sportbike Tracktime out there. I've seen one of their events at Pocono and wasn't thrilled with the way they do things....I think it's too much for a noobie to select their own riding level.
