New STT Schedule
Hey woodyracing?
This off the topic thread but after looking at your site looks like you race an sv and an rr? Id be interested in your opinion on the differences between the two bikes on the track, just curious

actually i've got an F4i trackbike, never ridden an RR on the track and I actually just got the SV (only done 1 trackday on it)
so far the SV is really fun to ride, you really have to wring its neck to go fast
the cool part is that you can get on the gas harder coming out of the corners and not worry about it highsiding you to the moon
the only time I rode it I had the wrong gearing (fyi road atlanta gearing doesn't work so well at Barber lol), I didn't get the shock set up right until the last session and I didn't ride it until after I crashed my F4i that morning; point is the bike wasn't optimum but it was still a lot of fun and should be awesome to race next year
my only concern is that the 03+ SVs are becoming known for blowing motors in race conditions (mine is an 05 w/ 06 motor) so I probably need to get an extra motor for it just in case

Barber is awesome, Jennings is VERY good (my favorite in some ways), Nashville kind of sucks (the banking is hard and its VERY bumpy), Road Atlanta is getting repaved so is off a lot of schedules. Good track for the most part. Roebling Road is VERY fast, but not very safe in my opinion. Old track. Dont over look Talladega GPR this year, they have a whole new configuration and pavement. WERA just did their first race there this season and reviews were good. Cheap place to ride.
