you'll want to make sure you have shifting, braking and turning down before you go...
and also, leave the ego at the gates!

if you can find someone who is willing to go out there with you and let you follow that would be even better!

well i have not been riding long but i gues after winer i will give a first track day a try. the first time out there should i be worried about hard breaking and accleration? or should i just worry about more on the cornering and lines?

Concentrate on being smooth and holding the correct line, the speed will come by itself as you get better at being smooth. It's never too soon. If you can ride and not fall over........you will learn more in one track day then you will in 5 years of street riding. As for "No Session" track days.....I dont know where you live but TrackAddix is the only one in the midwest that does it and I was skeptical at first about everyone being on the track together but it's amazing how un eventful the whole thing is. With the flexability to go when ever they want......not everyone is rushing to get their track time......it's really actually very relaxed. MUCH more than you would think.

work on 1 thing at a time! focus on too much as a new rider and you get overwhelmed.
