Default Wheelie RPM Question

Im new to wheelies and I wanted to ask if this is a correct conclusion:

it doesnt matter how fast your going and how high your rpm is when you grab the clutch, what matters is how much you bring the rpm up after you grab the clutch.

Example: The Rpm was 7k and I tried wheelie at 11k-12k but it didnt pop up

however when i was at 5k and i tried wheelie at 11k-10k and it pops up

is this correct?

Thanks!

Hard to say, are you sliping the clutch or pulling it in all the way? depends on your gearing too. are you on stock gears? Go up 2 in rear, or down 1 in front and try again.

You have an f3 correct? And do you have 15/43 sprockets?

Because with these stock sprockets you should have ease in 1st, and even 2nd gear, as you get better.

If you're at 7k in w/e gear and you clutch-rev. to 11k, then that means you're moving faster than when at 5k.

Leaning back on the seat more (if doing sit-downs) will help you when you're trying to pop it up, when moving faster!

yea, its all got to do with the physics as in your speed and how fast the tire is rolling. There are no RPMs that you should shoot for. I would just say keep it around powerband.

try going 5 mph. feels like almost a dead stop. rev it to 8 - 10rpm and hold it.

if you go to 7k in first then rev to 8 or 9 k it will come up nicely.
