Default wheelie confusion please help!!!!

ok so heres the thing i have a 2002 honda cbrf4i i just bought 4 months ago(5xxx miles). I am a newb this is my first bike. For some odd reason i learn at a very fast pace. My second week having my bike i read how to do a power wheelie i was in 1st was doing 6 rpm or 7rpms then i yanked the throttle and i got it off the ground just a bit. So last night i went riding with two friends both noobs. My one friend has a gsxr and he inspired me to wheelie more. so i seen him get it up justa little off the ground i ask how he does it and he explains to me the popping the clutch method. So i listen and tried next thing i know my front in floated right in the air when i was in second gear i got really high too. When i landed i came down really soft i felt my shocks compress nice and comfortably. My question is once i get it up in the air what do i do??? Do i start to balance out the clutch and throttle like finding the friction zone?? or do i keep on and off on the throttle?? someone please helpi need to keep my bike in the air for longer just do not know the proper and easiest way.

Off the clutch completely. Only use it to bring the bike up, then its all throttle control and body position. Once you get high enough you will get to a balance point, the bike will just hover there, your speed and rpm's will level out and you can ride all day. I would not worry too much about getting there right now though, just practice getting it up consistantly and ridng them out for a bit.

Heres a vid of some slow motion coming up, and some sounds of coming up, maybe they help ya some?

Cover the rear brake and if you come back too far just lightly apply to recover. Unless you have superb throttlr control you should be on the rear brake alot. < If you are at BP. Carefull with those power wheelies because they come up so fast and are easy to loop. With the clutch method it 's slower and more controlled and anticipated. Practice makes perfect but wear your gear. I've wrecked so many times and it always gets worse lol.

try not to use your rear brake excessively. You have to learn your throttle control as much as possible. remember to take your time because this is probably your primary bike and if you wreck it - it's gonna suck. But TK954RR learned on his bike and seems to be doing very well (doing better then me because i'm such a ***** haha)but from what i remember, he took his time and never really pushed the envelope.

Verm is on with his info of me. You can take your time and learn somewhat safely, i havent crashed stunting (yet) and it did take me a year to learn what i can do. I do think i am still lucky though that ididnt crash something, and i have had a few close calls, but ive been riding a long time, and im sure that helps in panic spots. That is something that cant be learned fast though.

Oh and Verm, didnt you get a 636 or something? get out there and wreck that thing Heck if i had a stunter, there is no end to the damage i would probably do to it and myself lol.

wheeling is probably the easiest stunt to perform because well i dotn consider sitting on the tank a stunt..anywho watch that rear and power wheelies you can loop your bike not sure if this was previously mention if it was then ill reassure it..basically riding riding riding speed up ahead of group slowdown a bit and then rev and clutch it..works all the time everytime weather it be for cars full of girls or just feel like saving gas on 1 wheel..and please dont try stand ups until you can get it up like a pornstar..i once wheelied and then after landing it i stood on my tank shortly after running over a stick i high fived the ashalt gloves will save you..look up youtube videos..but its pretty easy once you get it..

no title on it yet, waiting for the previous owner still. But can't even play around because it has a head gasket leak (leaking coolant) so i'm just sitting around intill i get the title before i fix anything. it's irriating but oh well, i have my primary bike to ride.
