I think a 56 or 58 would be fine. Any bigger than that and you got another rim on your bike that you dont need.

I'm on a 99 F4 and i'm 1 down in front, I dont know how many up in back. Its a 60 tooth rear, though. I dont know what stock is. I love it-really slow wheelies, a lot easier to keep on B.P, in turn easier to hop around!

The only difference between the F4 and F4i is the fuel injection. Well and the nanner seat.

On the -1 in front means +3 in the back, this works as a good general rule, but the difference actually changes slightly as the number of teeth get furter apart.

i"ve been wanting to gear mine low for this stuff, but i like my gas mileage and speed.

I've been thinking of going -1 in the front and +2 in the back.
Anyone know what this will do as far as highway rpms/gas mileage/operating temperature? I ride an 01 F4i.

I have a 2000 F4 and I went -1 on the front and stayed with the stock number of teeth on the rear. it helped the low end, but not near as much as your looking for. I would never go lower the -1 on the front-the chain can bind if you go to small on the front.
