Default Skitching

I have a couple questions about skitching.
1) What kind of shoes do you wear?
2) How do you get back up when skitching from the side? the back? (I tried side skitching b4 but couldn't get back on so i had to stop the bike to get back on lol)
3) How do you keep the bike going? Choke? Throttle Lock? Neutral?

Any other pointers would be appriciated too...thanks.

I just wear what ever I have on that day for shoes. Getting on..well there are two ways...one is you can step on the peg if your on the side and lift yourself back on, or you can press down with your toes and basically jump/throw yourself back on to the bike. Different people like different ways. As for the throttle, when on the side just keep your hand on the throttle that works for me...on the back I hit a decent speed and then go into nuterual.

Um, I think that covers it...oh, wear your gear...falling is not fun..

you dont need special shoes. you can step back onto your pegs to get back on but..... the crowd loves it when you swing both legs back onto the bike. and just throttle through the entire thing.

Thanks rabbit and sorad...couple more things...

How fast should you be going (minimum?) because i know if u try to do it at like 10mph your feet wont really slide.
Do you have to be on a perfectly flat road?
Is this a reletivaly easy stunt? (i've only done it in the rain)

dont put weight on your feet. ive done this trick at 5 mph in a circle so it can be done. you can do them at any speeds. ive done them on the freeway aswell back when i first got my bike. and YES, this stunt is crazy easy.
