RE: SIT DOWNS VS STAND UPS !!!!!
I agree, I cant see anything when doing sit downs, only been doing standups a weeks or so, but I can see everything and control my balance much easier. how hard is a highchair with a CBR929 stock front end? I can do them on my dirt bikes, but I have been too scared to try them on my 929, is pretty much stock except for a scorpion exhaust and a power commander. tank is not smashed in, not sure if that is nessesary or not?

The trick to sit downs unless you want your bike all stock is to take out all the plastic trim pieces on you upper so that in a sit down you look through the upper along the forks, on 929's you can see good through the front but on my f4i I can't see very well when looking through. You can do highchairs on a stock bike but with out a dented tank its a little harder to stay put. Also if you are just learning to wheelie get balance point down real good before you start trying highchairs on a 929 cause especially with out a handbrake you need to be able to have engine braking down good or you can loop out easy..

RE: SIT DOWNS VS STAND UPS !!!!!
thx for the info scott, I think I will be waiting a while for that stuff on my street bike, Kind of dont want to take any plastic off, If I had the cash I would buy me a bike just for stunts, I guess until then I'll attempt what I can on the CBR and do crazy stuff on the dirtbikes. I'm just getting comfortable on the CBR standups now, farthest one I've got so far I think is around a quarter mile. I keep wanting to do crazy stuff on the CBR, the sain part of me is trying to reason with the insaine part of me.
I want to mount some passenger pegs where the rear wheel axel is on my XR200R dirt bike, so I can stand on those while riding wheelies, it would also be cool to get a 12oclock bar for it. I havent seen any, I guess I would have to fabricate my own, know of any places that sell stunt parts for dirtbikes?

RE: SIT DOWNS VS STAND UPS !!!!!
In sit downs, I just stick my head out the left side and look around the bike. I think sit downs are more relaxing and I dont have to do much but stand ups look better and its so much more fun to fly by when you are 7-8 ft in the air. I think its easier to balance in a stand up as well. Man I need to get some video on here.
