Im clutching the **** out of it but im not standing and im not bouncing it at all im just sitting with my *** scooted back all the way. Does it matter how fast your going in first i pull them up at about 30 and i would think in second i would have to go faster so the revs dont drop as much when i dump the clutch.

Ill try that im going to go practice trying to get second gear up but it feels funny standing up clutching it and then trying to bounce it maybe if i try sitting down clutching and bouncing it and then standing up when it starts to rise ?

Stand staggered with your left foot on back peg and right foot covering the brake and it is so much easier..Standing on the front pegs clutching it up feels wierd..

Riding around standing like that will do nothing for you, cause when the front tire comes up it feels completely different. Try sitdowns first, if you can't clutch 2nd sitting down you need more practice. It took me about 2 weeks to finally get the feel to be able to clutch 2nd sitting down. I wasn't trying to do it everyday, but working with it occasionally. Get the feel for sitting down first, then work on your staggered standups IMO The first one is going to feel weird and will probably be kinda wobbily but you'll get over that stage pretty quick. Before you go out let some air out of your tire, I'd suggest 25-28psi when its cold. Ok now go out and practice, you should be able to let the bike do all of the work for you, so don't try bouncing it quite yet, it might put you in a tankslapper or something
