Default Lever tip

I don't know if this would work for our street bikes but on my old dirt bike to help prevent breaking levers. I would take off the whole lever assembly and wrap some teflon tape around the bars then clamp the levers back on, What it would do is let the lever assembly twist on the bar when it hit the ground so you wouldn't break levers, but it was still tight enough not to move while your riding.

The best way to not destroy levers is to get an ASV cause it will fold back and it comes with a warranty so if you break it they give you another. I have only broke one and I went back to cyclegear and got another under warranty on the spot..But if you have done that on a dirtbike and it worked try it out it has got to be better than nothing
