db handle bars?
ORIGINAL: vtrstunta
expensive.. but at least i'm not breaking the stock triple every time i land the handlebars on the ground! (as you do if you just drilled the stock triple yourself)

i went back to db bars last weekend. this time im running some WRP bars. i still dont like db bars but im going to try and get use to them. they suck for seat standers.... it feels like i have to re learn them.
i have never heard of a tripple breaking. my boys have been running dbs since day one. just keep them tight and you should be good.
i didnt have to get new brake lines or any cables. everything went together fine. i just cut my throttle side down an inch to bring my controls in. it helps with throttle play.

yea! sometimes drilled triple's last a while. i'm just gonna ebay my stock triple and hope that the billet triple from fullthrottleinc never breaks! (hasn't yet, and i have landed on them pretty hard. gotta love 1&1/8 pro-taper and moose bars).
i dont know if i didn't need longer lines, but i installed 4" extended front brake lines (galfer), clutch cable, and throttle cables (motionpro.com is the best site i could find for cables) at the same time
