Dirty, I have a nut and bolt going through the cage and slider holding the derlin. im gonna try and modify the slider though. Im thinking of making a 1inch slit in the middle of the slider and place a 300lb rated spring between the slider and bolt that goes to the motor mount. www.tygershark.netmakes their cages with sliders like im talking about. im just gonna try and copy their design.
JZ, i havent tried foam padding to help with impact. but i have seen guys use it so they dont bang their shins when they jump to spreader.

The show was back on April 22nd. it was the Ignition Show Down car show. they had drifting, lowrider hoping comp and the stunters. that was my first show and i totally froze! but other than that it was an awsome time.

 

Its the same **** they run on roll cages... Little kids bikes have it often.

 

i was gonna do the bolt/nut method but i just said the hell with it and hammered that **** all the way in.

i mean i cant explain it basically its a hollow foam tube with a slit down one side so you can wrap it around a pipe, but i zip tied those bitches down
