i was doing some wheelies today and when i got back i notices that the piece that connects the side faring front fairing and the plastic cover on the tank, had pulled away from the tank a little and the taps going into the tank plastic had snaped off....

my question is what caused this? is there any way to prevent more damage like this in the future? was is caused by something i did wrong? and what other things should i check for damage i don't want my front fairing coming off because of a broken mount or anything..... sorry for the newb questions but i'm still learning about bikes...


i'll post pics of the part i'm talking about tomorrow because i'm not exactly sure what that piece is called and i didn't describe it the best..



P.S. it's an 06' 600 RR if that makes a difference at all
