I guess a motorcycle dealership could be homicidal enough to dress tires on sold bikes. But I doubt it. Showroom bikes are rarely the bikes ridden home. And light can be deceptive.

No brake light , full screen pause reveals a nice shiny rear, frame by frame says he
twisted the throttle --- unaware of how quickly the bike would respond ( my guess
by comparison to whatever bike he rode before). Way I see it.

Pretty old vid BTW ....... saw this like over a year ago..... just filed it under "dumbass"

IF he rode anything before. Helmet and suit all look brand new (check the visor). Most people would go buy a bike with their current gear in hand, not buy a whole new set along with the bike.

There's a certain kind of rider that will exactly go and buy matching gear for a new bike
.........lots of well heeled BMW types will almost always do it in fact and eastern Europeans,
& Dutch , Germans , Belgians etc ..... fit that demographic readily.

Nutters. If I'm already getting raped by the dealer on the bike, I sure ain't gonna go down on him by getting gear from him too

Well it all boils down to $$$$$ and standards of living etc...... or it used to
that vid was back in 07 ......... not so sure many folks in Europe or here
for that matter are going in and plunking down a trunk load of cash these
days ......... hence the low apr loan promo's all the manufacturers are
pushing atm.

Good thing tho' is killer deals on bikes these days both new and used

Ain't that the truth I went in to visit somebody and almost ended up with a new bike that I do not need (Kawa ZX14). The prices and finances are very much in favor of a new bike buyer right now.
It is very hard to not want a new bike with how hard they are pushing them. Dealerships are going through some tough times these days still with low prices. I don't know how long they will be able to keep it priced low and still stay viable.
